Off to Alice’s place! I’ve known her since high school, I am so happy to have her around otherwise my relocation to San Diego would’ve drove me insane and…lonely.

Wanna trade?

When I visited LA couple weeks ago, I had those long late night talks with Tracy about all things I’ve been doing to stay “sane”. She suggested a cute idea that we should trade mix CDs but it has to be around a certain theme. I decided to stick with a simple theme and the theme I chose for my mix CD is…a day in a life. I have written some things I wanted to put in this mix CD but I haven’t quite arranged it yet. I thought it was cute trading and kind of well…nostalgic. Actually reminds me of back in high school when I actually did trade mix CDs with friends.

p.s. I thought I wanted to change my layout a bit. And I’ll try to upload my latest daily photos tomorrow (uploading sure eats up your batteries) and I’ve been meaning to take a quick picture of our new bioreactor in our lab that we might keep but failed to do so every time because I either don’t have my lab coat, forgot my camera, or too busy to take a picture.

Still doing NaBloPoMo but strictly following the theme “look up” is kind of hard to do. According to the rules, just as long as you post something everyday for the month then you are still participating in NaBloPoMo.For me, I’d like try posting something that is NOT a daily photo and just experiment with as many ideas as possible.

I’ll start NaBloPoMo off by a song called “Look Up” by Stars–that’s pretty simple. I’ve been listening to this song (and Stars) back when I was in high school–senior or junior year. Recently, I was listening and singing along to this song with my friend in the car and it made me want to listen to this song and Stars again.
