Truth is, I’ve been so guilty eating out more often than I should . It’s either I finished work late and I don’t feel like cooking and I’m tired or I am just not interested in cooking. Hopefully I can get the habit of eating in again.

I’ve been working at my job for about eight months, I can’t believe I’ve never been to the beach here and it’s only 2 blocks away!

You can see downtown La Jolla from here. And you got to love watching the hand-gliders.

I decided to get a notebook and make it a travel journal–something to carry with me since I am not around my computer 24/7 and I can record where I’ve been, what I’ve seen, any new restaurants or sites I’ve tried in SD or LA and what I’ve got out of it .

Everytime I am back in LA, looking at this view from my former college apartment building sure makes me nostalgic. It is the tallest building in this neighborhood. Even though it wasn’t the best looking apartment inside and out, it did have the best view overlooking Westwood and UCLA.

Arrived in LA at 1 am. Thank you Nassim for letting me stay in your room and thank you Nataly for letting me borrow your mattress.

This weekend was the LA Times Festival of Books but I did not spend too much time because I went out for lunch with my parents and sister and spent the rest of the afternoon with them.

Anyways, this is the sunset along Torrey Pines road on the way to Carlsbad.

I saw this sign in downtown Carlsbad–I like the “world without borders” sign.
